SPIRITUAL COUNSELOR.
Spiritual counseling focuses on the study of the individual as spirit, soul or divine essence and prepares them to start their own path of self-discovery and gain effective tools to guide, advise, and comfort others who are experiencing stages of intense transformation that are generally painful.
This need to focus on spirituality rather than religion arises because many people have not been able to find convincing answers in institutions that preach a philosophy of reward and punishment (as if God were a judge lacking compassion or empathy) or are tired of religions that have rigid rules or absurd beliefs about the nature of God and the purpose of man on earth.
In this course, students are encouraged to find the answer to who we are, what is the purpose of our existence, what happens after death, and learn to trust or develop faith in a formless, all-pervading God who is manifested in the world as the very embodiment of a profound and selfless love.
Upon completion of this course, the diploma of Spiritual Counselor will be awarded and the graduates will have enough tools to guide, comfort, or help to heal all those who approach them for support. Throughout this course, students will have the full attention of a coach who can help them understand the class material and answer any questions.
